Sanding Polishing

Floor Sanding to floorboards and other flooring can be carried out by our painting and decorating team using our walk behind sanding machines and vacuum systems. We can then apply stain colourants, lacquers or sealers.

Sanding of all types of timber flooring including parquet is a request we often receive as we use highly specialist hardened lacquer supplied by Sayerlack in combination with our unique system. Doing this produces stunning results, as you can see from the photographs.

Traditional French Polishing results in one of the most beautiful finishes available. This a highly skilled craft by which the effect is built up by several layers.

Patience and a very clean working area is the key for beautiful French Polishing. We can polish both furniture and flooring throughout the areas of High Wycombe, Slough & Oxford.

Specialized Finishing

We can provide a range of Specialist Finishing services including:

Marbling

Of which there are many different methods, all intended to produce the effect of natural marble with or without veining. This type of specialist finishing can transform various items such as old fireplaces.

Woodgraining

This method of specialist finishing is carried out by painting on a glaze and then wiping it out to form a grain. Further working can create the little pits or checks that are found in genuine timber which can then be backed up with the underlying timber colour required.

Ragging, Sponging, Bagging and Colour Washing

These are simpler methods of achieving an interesting decorative specialist finish than those above. They are primarily made up with a single layer glaze which is applied or removed with an appropriate tool and then backed up with the colour required.
