External Decorations to a House in Downley

Full external redecoration to a house in Downley, High Wycombe, near to Downley Common.

Project Requirements

We were asked to paint the masonry of this lovely house in Downley.  We suggested some alternative colours and the client was keen to go ahead with a very fashionable grey.

Solution Implemented

Our painters got to work, preparing the exterior walls, which included some render patch repairs and a fungicidal wash.  Then we applied two coats of ICI Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry paint to the walls tinted in grey. Then finished off the window surrounds and sills using ICI Dulux Weathershield external undercoat and gloss in a contrasting grey colour.

Challenges Overcome

This was a big colour change to the original, so we got a test pot mixed up to the new colour, then painted an area so the client could get an idea and be 100% sure before we had the full quantity of paint mixed.

Results

The client was extremely pleased with the painting work and the refreshed look. On this page, you will find some imagery relating to works completed on the project. For further information about this or any other project carried out by the ABK team please contact us directly via the office.
