Harleyford Lodge Refurbishment Case Study

Refurbishment of a Lodge on the Harleyford Estate, Marlow

A beautiful Scandinavian lodge/cabin set on the private Harleyford Estate in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Project Requirements

A full refurbishment of the lodge was required including painting and decorating, new carpets, new furniture required and installed and gates made for the decking area.

Solution Implemented

We used Johnstones durable matt which was colour matched to Ammonite a Farrow and Ball colour, we also used the same colour on the woodwork in Eggshell.  We used our carpenter to make new timber gates to match in with the rest of the decking area. Our flooring/carpeting expert recommended the best type of flooring throughout.  We also helped out with the style of furniture and furnishings.

Challenges Overcome

The client wanted to achieve a light, airy look to the lodge at all times of the day.  As the light fell in many different angles due to the shape and structure of the building this made some colours look completely different at certain times of the day.  To help the client chose this perfect paint colour, we provided test pots in the chosen colour but in various tones and painted several areas so the client could make their final choice.

We were extremely pleased with the final result. On this page, you will find some imagery relating to works completed on the project.
