The story so far…
Our business was established in 1967 by Alan Bernard Kinch (ABK), a respected local painter and decorator from High Wycombe. Our company is therefore named ABK after him!
In 1988 Alan Kinch relocated to Wales so his son, Roy aged 21, also a professional painter and decorator, took on the running of the family business.
We began refurbishment work in 1995 after many years of seeing clients being let down by their builders, resulting in their planned decorating works being delayed.
Today, we are very much the leaders in our field and are seen by many, both locally and across London and the Home Counties, as the benchmark for quality and service.
Based close to the centre of High Wycombe, and benefiting from the excellent transport infrastructure of this town, we are still led by Roy, who heads up both the decorating and building divisions and continues to grow ABK. With a workforce of over 25 highly trained and motivated professionals, who will work to ensure that your experience of ABK is pleasurable and rewarding.
